About the filmmaker:

Michel Orion Scott
has an eclectic film background that ranges from set construction and design on narrative Hollywood films to abstract experimental work and feature documentaries. MY FATHER IN THE RIVER, a narrative film, took him to the heart of the Bolivian rainforest where he worked with the native Moseten Indians of the region, using them as actors, extras and crewmembers in a truly collaborative effort.  Michel’s feature documentary work includes camera and editing on TROOP 1500 as well as TRINIDAD which premiered in June at the L.A. Film Festival.
