Tony Amos lived through the London Blitz of WWII, worked on the construction of one of the first color televisions in Bermuda, has been on 33 scientific voyages to Antarctica and has spent 14 hours a day for the last 32 years in Port Aransas, Texas rescuing, rehabilitating, releasing thousands of sea turtles, birds even dolphins at the ARK... all this with no formal education. The Animal Rehabilitation Keep rescues more wounded wildlife than any other establishment on the Gulf of Mexico. Tony keeps the ARK going by sheer willpower even though he officially retired five years ago. He is driven to help the animals recover so they can leave the ARK and be free again. But at 72, it’s time for Tony to do the same.
