Support AFS This Giving Tuesday

Across the U.S., the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is known as Giving Tuesday, a day meant to inspire philanthropy and encourage donations to causes of all kinds. In Austin, we feel it's a perfect day to give back to our film community.

This Giving Tuesday, we have four easy ways that you can help us as a local nonprofit. Each option below helps us support the next generation of filmmakers, and the proceeds go toward AFS's impactful programs. 

FOUR WAYS TO GIVE

Give, Join, or Renew an AFS Membership

If you give, join, or renew an existing membership before January 2, 2023, you'll receive a punch card worth five concessions at the Cinema (alcohol not included). And, as a bonus, we're also giving AFS beanies to those joining/renewing at the LOVE level or higher.

Purchase a Giftcard

AFS now has digital gift cards, and they can be sent to whomever and whenever you want this holiday season. Gift cards can be used toward movie tickets and/or classes at Austin Public so you can let your favorite filmgoer or filmmaker choose what events they want to attend.

Reserve Your Ticket to the Texas Film Awards

The Texas Film Awards are coming back on March 3, 2023, and they'll be hosted at Willie Nelson's film-set-turned-venue Luck, TX. Join us for our annual fundraising celebration, and be a part of the biggest night in Texas film.

Donate to the Texas Film Awards Fund

Can't make the fundraising gala this year? You can still participate by donating to the Texas Film Awards fund. All donations go toward supporting the next generation of filmmakers through AFS's production and travel grants, internships, workshops, mentorship, and training.
