ABOUT THE 2012 FESTIVAL

Fusebox is excited to announce the line-up for the eighth annual Fusebox Festival, April 25 – May 6, 2012. This year's festival consists of 50+ events over 12 days in 15 different venues all over Austin. The programming is a dynamic mix of artists from across the globe including The Netherlands, Israel, Germany, the UK, Argentina, and Columbia. National artists from New York City, Los Angeles, Portland, OR, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Seattle--joining dozens of artists from Central Texas to create a one-of-a-kind cultural event in our region.

Fusebox Artistic Director Ron Berry describes the festival, "Fusebox champions adventurous works of art across a variety of different mediums. We think there's something inherently exciting and powerful about this collision of different ideas and perspectives. This notion of hybridity is central to our understanding of creativity. The festival is also a great opportunity to engage with new, emerging artists as well as renowned masters. We hope you can join us."
