Presented by Ashley Sabin & David Redmon post-screening discussion moderated by Bryan Poyser
About INTIMIDAD: Shot over the course of 4 years, INTIMIDAD is an in-depth portrait of Cecy and Camilo Ramirez, a young couple struggling to make ends meet in Reynosa, Mexico. Their dream is to buy land and build a house so their 2 year-old daughter, Loida, can live with them. During Christmas vacation Cecy and Camilo return to Puebla, Santa Maria, where Loida has been staying with Cecy's mother. But, living in the harsh environment of Reynosa has strained their marriage and Cecy makes a decision that will threaten the family’s ability to stay together. About the directors: Ashley Sabin co-directed KAMP KATRINA (SXSW 2007), her first film, with partner David Redmon.
