Garage Sale!

As I sit in my office typing this blog entry (my first ever!), some of the hardest working Austin Studios helpers in town are finishing up the necessary set-up for Friday and Saturday's big sale in Hangar 2 here at the Studios. The majority of the items we have for sale are from the recently released, Austin Studios-based movie "The Hitcher", but as seen in some of the stuff we have snagged for ourselves, there are some cool props for sale.

Here are a couple shots of things we found:

A Chainsaw Operator Safety Manual from the set of the most recent "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie:

A bloodied trenchcoat worn by the villain in the new "The Hitcher"
There are also some fancy chairs from "Miss Congeniality" , more chainsaw parts, costumes (lots of New Mexico police outfits and lots more bloodied garb), furniture, office supplies, wooden flats, and all kinds of other cool and reasonably priced stuff.

Hopefully we will have a great turn-out, as all proceeds from this sale will go towards AFS. Should be fun!
