Celebrated Austin filmmakers David and Nathan Zellner, Kat Candler, Kelly Williams and Clay Liford join us for a conversation about their short form successes, and how this translates to career opportunities as well as creative growth towards the making of feature films.
David and Nathan Zellner are Austin-based filmmaking siblings who have written, produced, directed and edited numerous films and music videos that have screened at festivals worldwide. This includes five shorts (FLOTSAM/JETSAM, REDEMPTITUDE, AFTERMATH ON MEADOWLARK LANE, FIDDLESTIXX, and SASQUATCH BIRTH JOURNAL 2) which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival ('05-'11). In 2008 their feature GOLIATH, which also premiered at Sundance, went on to be distributed by IFC Films and aired on The Sundance Channel. They returned to Sundance in 2012 with their most recent feature KID-THING, followed by its international premiere at the 62nd Berlinale. Their work can be viewed at
