Description
PKWproductions ignites their fall season with François Truffaut's film based on Ray Bradbury's classic novel "Fahrenheit 451," the first of two Banned Books Week events by PKWproductions this September.
The screening of the 1966 dystopian science fiction film will feature an introductory concert by composer/bassist P.Kellach Waddle and cellist Paul Gronquist.
The concert before the showing will consist of three of the eight original works composed by P.Kellach Waddle for Banned Books Week. For one night only, join PKWproductions for a celebration honoring some of history's most influential - and once-challenged - literary masterpieces at this banned books "Music and a Movie" premiere!
PKWproductions will donate 15% of the evening's proceeds to Friends of the Austin Public Library.
