AFS Selects at the violet crown Cinema

We are very happy to launch a new cooperative series with the Violet Crown–AFS Selects. AFS will be adopting 1 - 2 films per month from the exciting slate of films showing at the Violet Crown. Their offerings closely parallel our own tastes in independent, documentary and international fare to a remarkable degree and we are excited to to support films that we love and to share them with you, AFS Members.

With Essential Cinema, Doc Nights, Avant Cinema, Best of the Fests, co-sponsorships with Austin film and arts organizations, the Texas Independent Film Network, Works-in-Progress, and an ever-growing number of sneak peeks, AFS continues to dedicate itself to offering and supporting the best of global, independent, experimental, documentary, and classic films. Now with AFS Selects at the Violet Crown we can reach even more people with the most up-to-date films in a great setting.

Check with the Violet Crown for show times. AFS Members receive a $2 discount on tickets purchased at the box office or by phone during the run of the selection, except the first show of the day.
