Distribution continues to be an evolving beast. With the rise of streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Instant and cable VOD, there are so many new options for audiences to access movies. We've invited three filmmakers who have gone down the digital distribution rabbit hole to discuss the experience.
John Bryant's short films OH MY GOD and MOMMA'S BOY premiered at Sundance in 2005 and 2006 respectively. He received a TFPF grant in 2007 for his short film called LOVEOLUTION which was subsequently purchased by Canal+ and distributed across Europe. More recently he produced and directed THE OVERBROOK BROTHERS which played at SXSW and several other festivals before being picked up by IFC Films and later screened on the Sundance Channel.
