Austin Film Festival and The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum present the “Made in Texas Film Series,” a program of films made by Texas based filmmakers or filmed in Texas, sponsored by the Texas Film Commission.

Oliver Stone directs this adaptation of Eric Bogosian’s Pulitzer Prize-nominated stage masterpiece TALK RADIO. Bogosian himself stars as Barry Champlain, a late-night shock jock with a chance at national syndication. But before he goes big time, he subjects his listeners to a marathon of abuse. Bogosian’s prophetic script predicted our current atmosphere of over-opinionated news personalities and caustic political vitriol broadcast for everyone to see and hear.
