AFS, AMD and El Rey Network are excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rodriguez's landmark first feature, EL MARIACHI. The party includes a will feature a special 35mm screening of the film preceded by the exclusive debut of the director’s early short film, ISMAEL JONES AND THE EYES OF THE DEVIL, which he made at age 16 with EL MARIACHI star Carlos Gallardo. Following a Q&A, Rodriguez and his band, Chingón, will perform songs from his movies, DESPERADO through MACHETE, as the corresponding film clips play behind the band on an enhanced digital screen.
