Last year, AFS Artistic Director joined us for a screening and discussion series spotlighting some of the very best films made between 1980 and 1983. The event was a huge popular success. Audiences flocked to see these films, many of which had not been seen in theaters for decades, and also to hear Linklater's thoughts on them, and his observations about cinema as a whole.

This spring the series picks up where it left off, with a whole new slate of films, this time we are focusing on films made between the years 1984 and 1986. Each screening will feature a live introduction from Richard Linklater and a post-screening discussion on stage. A series pass is available or tickets may be purchased individually for the series.
