The Austin Film Society's Doc Nights is our opportunity to bring the best in documentary to the big screen each month. Most screenings feature a post-screening Q&A session with the filmmaker either in person or via Skype. Some of our recent highlights include BOXING GYM with Frederick Wiseman, locally-based filmmaker Heather Courtney with WHERE SOLDIERS COME FROM co-sponsored with SXSW Film Fest, and FOR THE LOVE OF MOVIES with film critic Gerald Peary. We are also proud to partner annually to bring you UT's "10 Under 10" program of student-produced docs. Browse our past screenings for a full list of films we have screened.

Tickets are $5 for Austin Film Society members and students with a valid ID, and $8 for all others. Screenings are generally at The Alamo Drafthouse Downtown (320 E 6th Street), but please check each individual screening for specific location and time.
