Volunteer for THE 17th Annual TEXAS FILM AWARDS
Help celebrate the 17th anniversary of the Texas Film Awards on March 9th as a volunteer! Volunteers should expect a minimum of one shift during the week of the Texas Film Awards, in addition to a mandatory orientation on a T.B.D date the week of the event. Typical shifts last from five to six hours. All volunteers are entered to win cool prizes and the more shifts you work the more perks you will receive! Volunteers will be invited to attend an exciting party in the weeks following the Texas Film Awards to celebrate their hard work. Volunteer positions include:
Volunteers will guide guests throughout the evening, problem-solving as issues arise and effectively communicating with guests and AFS staff. Formal attire is suggested and customer service experience is a plus. If you consider yourself a people person this position is for you.
Volunteers will assist the main production team with assembly and execution of the Film Awards both on March 9th and the days leading up to it. This is a good opportunity to get an inside look at what it takes to run such a fantastic event.
Volunteers will work with the AFS Development Coordinator to coordinate guest entry into the event.
