This 4-hour course explores the history and theory of color correction. Designed for content creators, directors, or aspiring colorists, participants will leave the course with the ability to speak to other artists about the color needs of their own projects, as well as begin to explore and apply the art form to their future work.
We will tackle early technical and aesthetic aspects of filmmaking and the influence of those foundations on what would become the field of color correction. We also will look at case studies of hallmark works that changed the color landscape of media through today.
No prior technical knowledge is required.
