REQUIREMENTS
Completion of the Producer Program Start Up Process
RESOURCE CERTIFICATION CLASS
This class provides hands-on resource certification training to Producers within our Producer Program for Studio 2, a 360 sq. ft. studio with an LED lighting system, Panasonic PTZ robotic cameras (X3), news desk set, various curtains and a roll of seamless green paper. The Studio 2 Control Room is taught separately in our “Studio Control Room Training” class.
This course certifies Producers in the following equipment to then reserve at no additional cost:
- Studio 2 (360 sq. ft. studio)
- LED lighting board and light types
- Overview of Panasonic PTZ camera and controller
- AJA Ki-Pro recorders
- Studio protocols, general safety, ladder safety
You are not required to take a Crew Certification class if you are registered for a Studio 1 or 2 class.

Our classes do not have age limits, however, the producer Program is for ages 15 and up. For minors attending classes, we require a parent or legal guardian sign THIS WAIVER. Please email a signed copy back to austinpublic@austinfilm.org or bring it in person on or before the class date.
