The legendary Scheherazade entertained a king by telling him intriguing stories which kept her alive for 1001 nights. In Yousry Nasrallah’s film SCHEHERAZADE, TELL ME A STORY (2009), three Egyptian women tell their life stories on TV as encouragement and support for other women experiencing oppression at the hands of men.
