In his 32nd feature, writer-director Hong Sang-soo returns to a university setting, this time following Jeonim (Kim Min-hee, ON THE BEACH AT NIGHT ALONE), an artist and lecturer entangled in a student scandal. She enlists her uncle, Chu Sieon (Kwon Hae-hyo, A TRAVELER’S NEEDS), a blacklisted director, to stage a play. As he reconnects with his past and develops feelings for a professor, tensions on campus rise, the moon waxes, and Jeonim sketches by the stream, trying to grasp its patterns.
