Just in time for the Holidays
AFS is now offering electronic gift cards for tickets and classes! Treat your friends and loved ones to classic films at AFS Cinema or give them the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of new equipment at Austin Public. Gift cards make the perfect present for the cinephiles and budding filmmakers in your life, and they’re here just in time for the holidays. Simply select your gift amount below, add the email address of the recipient, and schedule a delivery date. Gift cards can be used for film screenings and classes. All gift cards are digital only and expire five (5) years from date of purchase. Read our FAQs below for more information.

You do not need to log in and make an account to purchase a gift card. Simply click “E-Gift Card” below and start the check-out process! You must enter Recipient and Sender information for your purchase. If you would like the gift card to go to yourself, add your name and email for both the Recipient and Sender details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gift cards can be applied to purchases within our ticketing portal. Simply select “Gift Card” as your payment option while checking out. Additionally, you can use your digital gift card in person at the AFS Cinema box office.
Your gift card can be used to purchase cinema tickets and/or Austin Public classes. They cannot be used for concessions, merchandise or memberships.
Gift cards all have an expiration date five (5) years from purchase. Gift cards are not refundable and should be treated as cash.
You will be able to designate a recipient of the gift card, including their email address, during the purchasing process. The recipient will receive an email with the gift card number, amount, and gift message at the time you designate during checkout. You (the buyer/sender) will receive a receipt for your purchase.
If you would like to receive the gift card yourself, add your name and email to both the Recipient and Sender fields.

Gift cards cannot be applied to memberships. However, to give the gift of membership, click here.
If you would like to use multiple gift cards for the same purchase, please visit us in-person at the AFS Cinema box office. At this time, our ticketing portal is only able to use a single gift card per transaction.
Click “Gift Card Balance” in the form above and enter your card number to see your remaining balance. Entering your number in “Gift Card Statement” gives you a full list of transactions.
