Other Forms of Life, Programmed by Huma Bhabha

There are no current or future screenings planned for this film.

Iranian auteur Abbas Kiarostami’s masterpiece tells a direct but multifaceted true story of a man who impersonates a famous filmmaker. The film, based upon a real-life case, stars the actual participants in the events depicted.

Guest programmer Huma Bhabha’s artwork reflects some of Kiarostami’s themes in the film, those of impersonation and identity, and the tension between documentary and fiction.
