“Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose, and plausibility feels like deadweight.” – Josh Modell, AV Club

“There is nothing subtle about CRANK 2; there is only submission.” – Dom Sinacola, Paste Magazine

“I had a good time with CRANK 1, but CRANK 2 for me was like THE EVIL DEAD 2 of the series.” – Jason Eisener, director of HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN

We’ll have you know that, while this is not Truffaut, it is a film with a truly special vision, made with a variety of jerry-rigged camera mounts and with an average shot-length of about .7 seconds, it displays madness in both form and function as it depicts the vengeful journey of a despicable hitman, reanimated by Chinese scientists, who must continually recharge his adrenaline reserves in order to stay alive.
