Two tales set in Paris. In SUZANNE’S CAREER, a young man’s competitive relationship with an old friend becomes bitter over a romantic interest. In the short THE BAKERY GIRL OF MONCEAU, a law student, played by director and producer Barbet Schroeder, makes a daily pilgrimage to a neighborhood bakery to feed his fantasies about the brunette at the counter.
