Kairouan in Tunisia, shortly after the Arab Spring. Hedi is a sensible and reserved young man who is passionate about drawing. He works as a salesman and dislikes his job. Although his country is undergoing change, he still submits to social conventions and lets his family make decisions for him. While his mother actively prepares his wedding, Hedi is sent by his boss to Mahdia, a coastal town, in the search of new clients. Hedi encounters Rim there. Hedi is attracted to this independent woman, who is a hostess in a local hotel. For the first time in his life, he is tempted to take control of his own life.

This beautifully handled metaphorical tale about Tunisia itself, torn between tradition and modernity is the first feature of director Mohammed Ben Attia and the winner of the Berlin International Film Festival 2016 for Best First Feature and Best Actor.
