As his debut feature COLUMBUS hits screens, we are proud to present a selection of the best video essays produced by director Kogonada. These pieces, which are as much film criticism as film, were originally commissioned by the Criterion Collection, Sight & Sound and others. We will also hear from the director in a post film Q&A.

Kogonada’s debut film, COLUMBUS, opens at AFS Cinema on August 25. A Q&A with Kogonada will take place on August 26.
