There are no current or future screenings planned for this film.

A fucked-up teen girl looks for love and a leather jacket to call her own on the night of the big rumble between the mods and a gang of Japanese bikers in this ultra-90s rager from TERMINAL USA and MY DEGENERATION filmmaker Jon Moritsugu. Featuring a killer soundtrack by Unrest, cameos from Mx. Justin Vivian Bond and famed drag king Elvis Herselvis (!), and a climax involving 800 lbs. of rotting beef, MOD FUCK EXPLOSION is a potent and surprisingly queer blast of teenage hate and rebellion, newly restored in 2K by the American Genre Film Archive! Paired with THUNDERCRACK! filmmaker Curt McDowell’s 1974 short, BEAVER FEVER (19.5 min.). MOD FUCK EXPLOSION’s Alyssa Taylor Wendt and Queer Cinema: Lost & Found programmer Elizabeth Purchell will join us for a discussion after the screening on Saturday, April 8.
