Norman Thaddeus Vane’s 1981 FRIGHTMARE is about a group of obsessive horror movie fans (they’re actually called the Horror Film Society) who disinter their favorite horror star and party with him in a haunted house. Then we have MAUSOLEUM, an exercise in absurdity about a suburban housewife possessed by a demon.
