The long-awaited new 4k restoration of Dario Argento’s seminal 1977 art-horror masterpiece SUSPIRIA is here. In his story of a young ballet student who attends a prestigious dance academy in the German hinterlands only to discover that it’s full of terrifying ancient forces, Argento throws the whole filmmaking toolbox into the mix. Genuinely terrifying, strangely beautiful, SUSPIRIA is a film like no other.

Presented in in its original 98 minute runtime, rescanned from the original uncut, uncensored Italian 35mm camera negative in 4K resolution at Technicolor Rome in Italy, with the supervision of Argento’s director of photography Lucian Tovoli. The soundtrack is restored to the original booming quadraphonic mix.
