The 24th is based on the true story of the all-black Twenty-Fourth United States Infantry and the Houston Riot of 1917. The night of violence led to the largest murder trial in American History.

SXSW Film Admission Policy

All screenings are General Admission. Seating is subject to capacity and will occur on a priority basis approximately 30 minutes before the screening starts. Attendees are advised to arrive as early as 60 minutes prior to the screening.

4. Day-of Single Tickets: sold 15 minutes before the screening, as capacity allows
A limited number of advance single tickets are available for select screenings for $25.  Advance ticket holders are advised to arrive at the theatre as early as 60 minutes prior to the screening time and join the advance ticket lines. In the unlikely event that a screening reaches capacity before an advance ticket purchaser can be admitted to the theatre, the purchase price will be refunded immediately at the Box Office.
Day-of-show single tickets may be purchased for $20 approximately 15 minutes prior to the screening start time, as capacity allows after all badge, wristband and advance ticket holders.
