There are no current or future screenings planned for this film.

In the cold of Iceland, under Northern light, two sisters traverse the harsh dream geography of the unknown in search of refuge. Coming upon a widowed father and his son, they adopt the family as their own, until magic — once again — threatens tragedy.

Loosely based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name, the arresting black and white beauty of director Nietzchka Keene’s THE JUNIPER TREE marks the first onscreen appearance of Icelandic superstar Björk. (Jazmyne Moreno)
