A screening of films by students from Pakistan’s National College of Arts showcasing the work of students from one of the most prestigious art institutes in the region.
As the four-year partnership between UT Austin’s Dept. of Radio-Television-Film and the National College of Arts, Pakistan, comes to an end, the Austin Film Society will screen films by students from the NCA. Ranging across documentary and fiction, and including stories from the most remote parts of Pakistan, these films represent the emergence of a new generation of artists in this rapidly-changing country. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with NCA’s Majid Khan and Shireen Pasha.
