“A truly wonderful, funny, thoughtful, open, and profound film.”
—epd Film

“NEVER SLEEP AGAIN is something like a pause after a pivotal moment, a reflection, and at the same time a look toward an uncertain future, while still holding onto the hope that the friendship will endure.”
—Film-Rezensionen.de

“With laconic wit, clever dialogue, and an uncertain outcome, Pia Frankenberg stages female power plays in the battle of the sexes — a film as experimental as its protagonists.”
—Berlin International Film Festival

Three friends from Hamburg travel to Berlin for a wedding, but when an unexpected encounter forces the trio to flee the riverboat shindig early, they discover their car tires have been stolen and every hotel is booked. Stranded, they decide to live in the present and walk headfirst into a city caught between its past and future. Directed by little-known auteur Pia Frankenberg and starring Wim Wenders regular Lisa Kreuzer, NEVER SLEEP AGAIN is a discovery worth making.
