The term “J-Horror” largely refers to RINGU and its kin, but there has been a tradition of skin-crawling, viscerally creepy cinema in Japan for many years. This program shares a few of the high points of the genre, from the high-art ghosts of KWAIDAN to the YA teen shocker SNAKE GIRL AND THE SILVER HAIRED WITCH.
