Each year, the Austin Film Society hosts the Texas Film Awards — an annual fundraising gala celebrating the artists and industry icons who represent the Lone Star State. The Texas Film Awards brings together artists, patrons, and film lovers with a shared commitment to supporting film and the Austin Film Society. The festivities kick off with a red carpet and cocktail reception, followed by dinner, a lively auction, an awards ceremony to induct new honorees into the Texas Film Hall of Fame, and a nightcap to close the evening.

This year’s Texas Film Hall of Fame honorees include an Oscar®-nominated filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist, a charismatic rising star, an actor who is known for having “big roles in little films, little roles on big films,” and a groundbreaking film about a family of spies. Join us at Troublemaker Studios on March 5 for the 2026 Texas Film Awards as we induct Julian Schnabel, Sydney Chandler, Sonny Carl Davis, and SPY KIDS into the Texas Film Hall of Fame.

Proceeds from the unforgettable evening benefit the artistic and educational programs of the Austin Film Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
