“Walk-ins” are not allowed. Everyone attending a class will need to be registered for that class. Instructors and AFS staff reserve the right to request proof of class registration.
Participants will be given a 15-minute grace period before they are considered “late.” Instructors reserve the right to deny entry if someone is deemed late.
“No shows” will not be refunded unless the absence is deemed an emergency by AFS staff. It is the sole responsibility of the class registrant to communicate to AFS staff the circumstances of their absence in order to be considered an emergency. “No show” refers to the failure to notify AFS at least 24 hours in advance of needing to miss the class. Please contact us at austinpublic@austinfilm.org
Registrants who notify AFS prior to 24 hours before the class have one opportunity to roll over into a future class. That future class is subject to availability.
Instructors and AFS Staff reserve the right to deny entry or eject students from a class if the student is in violation of the code of conduct (posted in the Austin Public lobby and lounge).
