The Audio Production Suite Lab is designed to introduce beginners to the fundamentals of using the Audio Production Suite at Austin Public for various recording projects. Participants will gain experience with the Allen & Heath SQ5 audio board, set up of a Pro Tools software session and how to handle recording sessions for ADR, voiceovers, audiobooks, and small music sessions.
The course also covers basics of:
- Headphone amps
- Microphone selection
- Session setup
- Essential troubleshooting
- Proper cable usage and management
