Must have taken a Studio 1 or 2 class
This hands-on lab in Studio 2 is designed to demonstrate how a live (or recorded) production actually works. Using the skills you learned in the Studio 1 or 2 training class, you’ll spend about 1.5 hours refreshing on the studio devices while setting up, 1 hour actively practicing in the control room directing and running the show, and 30 minutes breaking it all down the right way. The session is led by Doug Gray, AFS Operations Director of Access & Education, bringing 15 years of experience working these studios.
This class is only for those that have completed the full length Studio 1 or Studio 2 class.

Our classes do not have age limits, however, the Producer Program is limited to ages 15 and up. For minors attending classes, we require a parent or legal guardian sign THIS WAIVER. Please email a signed copy back to austinpublic@austinfilm.org or bring it in person on or before the class date.
