In a groundbreaking legal action, a group of women who had been victims of rape challenged the Austin Police Department and District Attorney’s office in a class action lawsuit contending that their rapists were allowed to go free because of a cultural bias against women. Their legal action takes extraordinary courage, and this film is a documentation of these cases, the circumstances of the investigations, and the progress of the lawsuit through the eyes of the plaintiffs and their hard-working and dedicated lawyers.
