THE STRANGERS CAME

Right before Christmas, strange things start happening at the widow’s house, who was married to a local organist. Muddy footprints left in the house, mysterious shadows and strange sounds make Bogusia increasingly believe that they could be signs from her tragically deceased husband. She experiences paranormal phenomena that intensify her unresolved grief.

The film tells the story of a girl who must make a difficult decision to save her family. Oksana, a Ukrainian woman, has been working in Poland for five years. Wanting to strengthen her family bonds, she decides to bring her children to live with her. At the border, she encounters problems — the children insist on taking their canary with them.
