Austin Asian American Film Festival Opening Night will open with “ALL THAT WE LOVE (2024),” a narrative feature showcasing what grief can look like after the loss of a pet. ALL THAT WE LOVE will follow with a Q&A with the filmmakers.

This documentary is preceded by “TOGETHER DAYS (2023),” directed by Isabella Tan.

This year’s festival, showcasing 30 films by Asian and Asian American filmmakers, features intimate stories that delve into the relationships our protagonists encounter and the personal growth (or lack thereof) that emerges from finding inner strength and reconciling with their identities.

The Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF) returns for its 17th iteration, taking place June 25-29, 2025 at the AFS Cinema (6406 N I-35 Suite 3100 Austin, TX 78752).
