A marriage of the mundane and extraordinary, Steven Spielberg’s cosmic spectacle is an odyssey into the unknown, guided by the swelling score of John Williams and complete with UFOs and aliens, mysterious government workers, and yes — French New Wave directors.
The May 21 show will feature a post-film discussion with Associate Professor Caroline Morley, Isabel McCutcheon Harte Centennial Chair in Astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin.
