With a magnificent, award-winning lead performance by Daniel Day Lewis as the biblically driven oil man Daniel Plainview and Paul Dano as his rival. The cinematography by Robert Elswit and music by Jonny Greenwood are also first-class and should be experienced as intended, in a cinema.

This special screening is presented in conjunction with the 2018 Texas Film Awards, benefiting the artistic and educational programs of the Austin Film Society.
