Austin Film Society Presents the 10-Year Anniversary of Annapurna Pictures’ Everybody Wants Some!! with Special Guests
The Red-Carpet Event at AFS Cinema Will Include Director Richard Linklater, Stars Glen Powell and Zoey Deutch and more.
February 24, 2026, AUSTIN, TX— The Austin Film Society (AFS) will host the 10-year anniversary screening of AFS Founder and Artistic Director Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some!! on March 22. Special guests attending the event include Texas Film Hall of Fame honoree Glen Powell (Hit Man, Top Gun: Maverick), Zoey Deutch (Nouvelle Vague, Set It Up) and more to be announced. The evening will include a red carpet and two screenings of the film with live post-screening Q&As with the filmmakers and attending cast. The Texas-made film, set in 1980 in the world of college baseball, is considered a spiritual successor to Linklater’s earlier Dazed and Confused. Everybody Wants Some!! was produced by Annapurna Pictures and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

This special event will include two screenings of the film. The first VIP screening will begin at 4 p.m. with a red-carpet reception, followed by the film at 5 p.m., with a live introduction by the evening’s stars. Doors for the second screening will open promptly at 5:30 p.m., and the film will begin at 6 p.m. Both screenings will be followed by an in-person Q&A with the filmmaker and attending stars.
AFS Members at various levels will have advanced access to tickets beginning at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 27. AFS Cinema will offer assigned seating for both screenings at this special event.
