Mark D. Cunningham, department chair of Radio-Television-Film at Austin Community College, joins us for a special screening series commemorating his new book, Once Upon a Time in South Central LA: John Singleton’s Hood Trilogy. Cunningham will appear for the first screening of each title to discuss the stories behind the films and to help us all digest their cultural import.
This project is supported in part by an Elevate Grant of Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment.
