RESOURCE CERTIFICATION CLASS
This class provides hands-on resource certification training to Producers within our Producer Program for Austin Public’s Studio 1 space, a 1200 sq. ft. studio space with DMX Lighting system, Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras (x5), news desk set, various risers and a large green wall with access to a loading dock.
The Control Room is taught separately in our “Control Room & Multi-Camera Training” class taught once a month.
This class will cover:
- Studio 1’s DMX lighting system
- Light types and operation
- Studio protocols, general safety & Ladder safety
- Studio cameras and camera control units
- Prop room, exits and loading dock overview
Our classes do not have age limits, however, the producer Program is for ages 15 and up. For minors attending classes, we require a parent or legal guardian sign THIS WAIVER. Please email a signed copy back to austinpublic@austinfilm.org or bring it in person on or before the class date.
